Craft Beer Festival with Feirense Hops

There are 16 brewers selected for this edition, which presents for the first time a locally produced craft beer with the addition of genuine Fogaça da Feira, a product with Protected Geographical Indication (IGP), and Feirense Hops, with a smooth and caramelized flavor, with subtle notes of spices, a novelty that promises to arouse the curiosity of lovers of distinct textures and flavors.

The result of a challenge launched by the Municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, a UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy since 2021, to local entrepreneurs, this “Fogaça in liquid form” is a creation by Cervejeira Quatro Torres e Lúpulo Feirense, which aims to promote local products and the gastronomic creativity of the region. Being an exclusive, limited edition creation, produced specifically for this year's festival, the new Brown Ale with a sweet flavor presents itself as a distinctive product with a Feirense signature and a unique gastronomic experience.

Creative gastronomy thus once again occupies a prominent place in the program, with the presence of chefs from four UNESCO creative gastronomy cities – Belém, Belo Horizonte and Florianópolis (Brazil) and Santa Maria da Feira – in an edition that celebrates the knowledge and flavors of both sides of the Atlantic, precisely in a territory where the Brazilian immigrant community is the most prominent.
